Roles and responsibilities

The brewery was founded in 2012 and is located in the heart of South West London next to Wandsworth Common Railway Station. We produce a range of premium US style hand crafted beers using the highest quality hops, malts and seasonal ingredients. Our beer reviews exceptionally well and we have become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in London, working closely with prestigious operators such as Laines, Antic London and Majestic Wines.We have a 20 BBL ABE plant with 5 fermenters, 3 conditioning tanks and a canning line. We brew and package all of our beers on the premises where we also have our Brewery Tap. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative who can join the team to help manage the existing sales channel, develop London sales and act as a brand ambassador for the Company. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Brewery Director, this role will have a big impact on the future progression of this company and we would strongly welcome candidates who want to develop their careers with us into the future. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Head of Sales & Brewery Director to identify and develop new sales opportunities via on trade, off trade and direct sales channels in the London area;
  • Targeted at growing packaged beer sales across London;
  • Develop strong day to day relationships with existing trade customers while creating/bringing in new clients and business;
  • Generating and activating bespoke Marketing Plans for all key Belleville customers and planning outlet events;
  • To help arrange and assist at trade shows and other corporate events;
  • Working with the management team on marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness of Belleville Brewing Co.
  • Meeting ambitious sales growth targets.

The candidate

Talent/Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Highly motivated, dynamic individual, with loads of energy and a "can-do" attitude;
  • Must be resilient;
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills;
  • Articulate, well-spoken and comfortable presenting to lots of people;
  • Naturally creative;
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the brewing & craft beer industry;
  • Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong sales & negotiation skills;
  • Sales or marketing experience within the drinks industry would be an advantage, but is not necessary;
  • Able to work flexible hours (occasional evenings and weekends) and travel; and
  • Based in London, eligible to work in the UK and Full UK driving licence.

Starting salary will be relative to prior experience. Other benefits include pension and company bonus.
