Our beers are brewed using modern creative techniques and ingredients while producing some of the world’s oldest beer styles guaranteed to give a memorable drinking experience. The role will be primarily cellar focussed in our Westcombe site.

It will require you to be trained at both cellaring and brewing, to ensure the production of wort, its fermentation, conditioning and finishing is in line with quality control and production targets, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout both breweries at all times. The successful candidate will be keen and enthusiastic and have a good understanding of the brewing process, equipment and techniques.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily brew house and cellaring duties
  • Work with our barrel store, emptying, cleaning and filling barrels
  • Fermentation management, monitor gravities and adjust temperature to ensure fermentation profiles are adhered to
  • Wort production at both our Westcombe and Lovington Sites
  • Arrange for all raw materials and equipment to be readily available to facilitate work
  • Ensure beer is the specification for packaging dates
  • Yeast Management - Perform yeast counts and cropping/pitching
  • Carry out CIP’s on tanks, hoses and equipment
  • Operate the Hopnik
  • Operate the Centrifuge
  • Measuring dissolved gases ( CO2s/DOs)
  • Maintain accurate records and enter all relevant data into soft brew logs
  • Assist the senior and Lead Brewer in project work where needed


  • We are looking for someone with a minimum 1 years’ experience in the beer industry
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • A positive and committed attitude
  • Happy to work flexibly to achieve business goals and keen to make improvements
  • IBD General Certificate in Brewing, Brewing, Food Science or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent (desirable)
  • Willing and able to work unsocial hours (early/late shifts) and occasional weekends will be required

Dependant on experience. We are willing to consider applicants with a minimum of 1 years experience with heaps of enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business, to more experienced candidates who can offer more knowledge and skills and bring more to the role.
