Teaming up with craft breweries and tap rooms around the world to find motivated job candidates!

Lead Brewer

Amity Brew Co

United Kingdom (Leeds)

Our Brewer is responsible for all operations within the brewing, fermentation and production side of Amity Brew Co – the most important role within our brewing side of the business!

You will be ultimately responsible for the brewery, with duties ranging from production and quality, cleaning and safety, to staff recruitment and stock control and rotation. The role requires strong social, commercial and practical skills and the ability to work flexibly with the whole Amity team.

Below is an outline of the tasks associated with this role; it is a non-exhaustive list. Still within our relative infancy as a business, having a strong, collaborative team who have a genuine desire to help each other and an accommodating, optimistic and flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities is key to the smooth running of the site.

Company background

Amity Brewing Co is our 10HL brewery and taproom based at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, Leeds. Since opening as an online shop in July 2020 we’ve smashed every expectation - selling out of our initial contract brewed batches and gained national (and some international!) notoriety. Having now been fully open since April 2021, we’ve gone from strength to strength gaining additional capacity, our own CIP and canning line, and some national success with businesses like Beer52, and starting to expand our local trade offering.

Our co-founders and partners all met whilst working in the beer industry and harboured a desire to create modern, flavourful beers, but with a nod to the classic beer styles which are often overlooked or passed by. We launched our brewpub in November 2020 into an amazing local independent-supporting community, and hit the ground running for our first full year in 2021/22. We have a core range of three beers, our US Pale, Helles Lager and Juicy Pale Ale, but support this line up with seasonal brews, special one-offs, and collaborations with like-minded partners.
