We are looking to add a Digital Marketing & Communications Manager to our Team!
Established in 2010, Tempest Brewing Co is an award-winning craft brewery based in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

We are looking to bring onto our awesome team an experienced Digital Marketing & Communications Manager to help share our passion and love for good beer.
We are looking for a high calibre individual to lead on a year-long project aimed at increasing our profile on relevant digital channels. Whilst the duration of this role is 12 months, we expect to offer a permanent position at the completion of the contract to the right person.
The role is full time and based at our Tweedbank HQ. You will be expected to work regular office hours although flexible working hours will be considered. Our HQ is a short walk from Tweedbank Station which is on the Edinburgh Waverley Line.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be solely responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing and brand management.
Whilst managing key Digital Marketing channels is a core activity of the role, you will be responsible for the implementation of our new Brand & Marketing Strategy; including taking the lead on the development of our new e-commerce platform and influencing an engaging and user-friendly environment for our customers.
Person Profile & Skills:
The ideal candidate will be both strategic and executional in nature, and should already have experience in delivering brand management, product marketing and fast-growth strategies, with particular emphasis on the consumer market.
You will enjoy playing your part in a vibrant team environment but be a natural leader, thus enabling you to direct and lead a team.
You will be experienced and confident when managing and measuring campaign success.
Ideally, you will be degree educated or hold a qualification as a chartered marketer. You will be currently be working in a senior marketing role, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
You will bring to the role technical marketing skills, especially in the use of PR, email marketing, social media and SEO Manage, plan and oversea communications.
You will have solid knowledge of website analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be competent in formal presentation skills.
You will be proficient in organisation and planning, be self-motivated and highly creative with a passion for marketing AND BEER!
Competency-based interviews will be held in March 2019. You will be asked in advance to undertake a task for presentation at the interview. Interviews will last for approx. 40 minutes.
